Hey, the summer is over and it is time for another gathering in Kiberpipa. This time around we will be checking out the hottest Slovene applications competing for a spot in the next round of the APPCircus.

APPCircus is a unique global traveling showcase of the most creative and innovative apps presented by their creators during some of the most influential international events in mobile/web. AppCircus is open to developers, startups and any other organization and offers each participant a chance to get a nomination to the Mobile Premier Awards.
We have 8 presentations from the most promising Slovene mobile applications. Each application will have a 5 minutes pitch + some Q&A space. Since there is no jury that can beat the MoMo crowd, the final winner will be picked by you!

We are delighted to announce that we are organizing an APPCircus in Ljubljana which will be held during the first MoMo of the season, so we can continue to inspire local developers, entrepreneurs, Startups and companies from the mobile applications space to come together and showcase the latest trends and innovations coming out of Slovenia and the region.
This will be a chance to create unrivaled opportunities for early stage Startups and mobile developers, so sign up for APPCircus@MoMoSlovenia (its FREE & painless) so you can be eligible to present your applications to the local community of mobile developers and companies, not only from your city but from a broad as well; in cooperation with APPCircus, we are aiming to build global connections and see the mobile space grow with the help of a truly global mobile application showcase platform.
Important Dates
There is a deadline to submit your application which is the 20th 22nd of October. The event date is the 25th of October in Kiberpipa, Ljubljana, Slovenia. Details on the event will be published soon.

Reasons to apply for APPCircus
Appcircus is a cross platform mobile showcase, which means that any developer that is building applications on top of a mobile platform is welcome, there is a place for Microsoft Mobile apps, Android Applications, RIM apps, Symbian mobile services and iPhone apps can be shown to an audience that wants to know about the cool product you are developing.
Even if you only have a prototype and the application works (with a few bugs..dont worry) feel free to sign up for APPCircus.
Step right up and be part of AppCircus! This service is FREE and will help us know more about your application, so a jury can view all the applications and choose up 10 applications that will get a chance to pitch in front of a live audience.
This will be an opportunity to get some real feedback from an expert panel, but also from a live audience. You will also get exposure to other companies and developers that can create some interesting opportunities for yourself.
Appcircus is open to any company, Startup or developer from all over the world to come down to Ljubljana and be part of a great atmosphere of MobileMonday Slovenia, interact with like minded developers, Startups and companies from and around Slovenia so you can make connections that can help you launch your idea internationally.

Over The Air Expedition

Kaj je Over The Air?
Over the Air is a grass-roots mobile developer event that is completely unique in the mobile industry events calendar – it is free to attend, is hands-on in the style of hack-days and bar-camps, covers the cutting edge of current mobile development (as opposed to glossy future-speak or sales-pitches), and features bean bags, a big party and an overnight sleep-over.There will also be a competition at the end of the event for the best categories of applications created during the event, with many great prizes to be won.
Timeline ekspedicije:
Od srede do sobote - 8.9. - 12.9.
- Sreda - prihod v London (pub crawling)
- Četrtek - izlet v Brighton ter obisk Future Platforms, Ribbot ali kakega drugega podjetja. Alternativno se lahko obišče katerega izmed londonskih startup-ov.
- Petek - OTA, nočni hacking
- Sobota - OTA + popoldanski turistični izlet po centru Londona (pub crawling)
- Nedelja - povratni let
